Thomas Rimes is an Australian musician currently living in Germany. In recent years Thomas has studied orchestral conducting in the United States and is currently working in the field of opera as a coach, conductor and composer. He is living in Kassel, Germany and working at the Staatstheater Kassel as a pianist and conductor. Thomas is also an active composer and recently finished composing his first full-length opera The Long Ride Home, based on a story and libretto he had written himself. (full biography)
On July 25th, 2008; Thomas presented the premiere performance of The Long Ride Home at the Independent Theatre, North Sydney, Australia, to great success.
