"That this extraordinary evening was so effortlessly entertaining can be attributed of course to the conductor Thomas Rimes...who brought out the necessary elegance, sparkle, and subtle humour of the music." Die Deutsche Buehne.
“Musically, Rimes has created a swirling, magically beautiful score that wears its modernity proudly without sacrificing structure and tonal allure. It is a notable debut that leaves one eager to hear the next step on its composer’s operatic journey.” Joseph Newsome
